Medicinal Oils are among the broader category of Essential Oils. It is advisable
to consult a naturopath, chiropractic or medical doctor, or other alternative
medical practitioner before attempting a traditional or folk remedy.
Essential Oils are most often derived by the steam distillation of fresh herbal
materials from around the world: leaves, stems, fruits and flowers. Essential
oils are highly concentrated and should always be treated with care and respect.
Quality oils are never adulterated or diluted. Like the herbal material from
which the oils are derived, essential oils should be stored properly. They
should be diluted before using them in any manner, as irritations can occur.
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes and keep out of the reach of
children.
Enjoy the natural, fragrant, sensual experience of essential oils. Make candles,
soaps, potpourris, perfumes, massage oils, bath oils, etc. But remember, a
little goes a long way! Use with care!
