Dr. Bach was a Physician and Homeopath who spent his life searching for simple and pure methods of healing. When he died in 1936 he had developed 38 essences, prepared from the flowers of trees, wild plants or bushes. These remedies treat the emotional bases of the individual instead of the outward disease or symptom. In addition to treating a specific illness, the Bach Essences are very helpful in treating those who just feel run down, anxious, or stressed, without a specific diagnosis.
The Bach Flower Essences may be taken with any other form of medical treatment, and are not meant to be a substitute for medical treatment. They are completely safe, for old and young alike. Also they have been found to be of benefit to animals, and plants. They do not suppress, but aid in transformation, removing a problem before physical symptoms appear.
Along with the listing of the specific remedy, you will find listed an emotional state of mind that is specific to that remedy. In choosing a remedy, look inwardly to see the cause of the emotional state, and address that cause. If you do choose the wrong remedy, no harm will be done, it just simply will not have an effect on you. *
